The adipogenesis-inhibiting effect of macrophage supernatants is dependent on secretory macromolecule. a hADSCs were cultured with adipogenesis-inducing medium (AD) with or without the supernatant from different macrophage subtypes (> 3 kDa or < 3 kDa) at the ratio of 1:1 in 48 plate, medium was changed every 3 days. After being cultured for 9 days, cells were fixed for triglycerides staining with Oil Red O to show lipid droplets. b Expression of adipogenesis-related genes in hADSCs treated with macrophages-derived supernatant (> 3 kDa) was measured by Q-PCR on day 3. c Western blot analysis of the protein levels of PPAR-γ in hADSCs cultured with different condition medium.
